It’s Official: The Dog Days of Summer are Here!

Summer is slow for Internet safety news. So, before the weekend arrives, I’m going to give you a look at what we have planned for back-to-school time!

I briefly mentioned in a previous blog some of our plans for fall. I am waist deep in research right now… our plan is to offer FREE copies of PC Pandora to schools across the country in an initiative I am dubbing “Safe School Surfing ‘07″. We are thrilled to be able to provide the desperately-needed resources to school districts at a very low cost – can’t get much lower than free. We are hoping that this will not only keep kids safe while on school computers, but also give schools the excuse to bring up the issue with parents.

With our PC Pandora monitoring software, teachers and administrators will be able to produce visual records of everything that happens on school machines. Via screen captures, they will be able to stop potential Internet predator threats and cyberbullying between peers.

We also plan on making a big media push in both national and local press, so if there is anyone out there that wants to help me relay this free offering, drop me a line at media@pcpandora.com.

Have a great weekend… I’ll post again when news starts happening!
