Twiggs County GA Rustles Up Some Potential Online Predators
Of course, just a day after i made a post about the slow news summer, this comes across my desk…
WGXA/FOX 24 has reported the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office teamed with the famous Perverted Justice organization and arrested 7 men intending to have sex with “children” they met online.
Perverted Justice used their incredibly effective tactic of posing as 13 or 14 year old females and entering chat rooms. Sheriff Darren Mitchum says it didn’t take long for 30, 40 or even 50 year old men to initiate risqué conversation.
In the end, the sting operation caught 7 – some young, some old, some married with children, and some claiming to be deacons and youth ministers. All of them from outside Twiggs County. Three of them even drove to meet the child, but met a deputy instead. The Sheriff says they have air tight cases against all of these men and trials should start in October.

I’m sorry, but this article is complete bullpoop! I know personally someone who has been “caught” as a sexual predator by the Twiggs County Sheriff, and from what i saw and he has told me, this article is complete poop. They are not sworn protectors, they are more like people on a witch hint and create the witches with whatever means necessary. They are savage monsters who ransacked his house in a more barbaric manner than ancient Vikings would have in one of their plunderous escapades. The man i know was approached by a “thirteen year old girl” who would not leave him alone, even when prompted to. He eventually was goaded into a meeting, but he was only going to completely cut ties with the “girl” who had already begun to suspect was not actually a real person at all.
And if i remember correctly, aren’t the girls the victim’s here? then why do send a volunteer out into the net searching for sex offenders. That only furthers the idea that twiggs county makes their targets into internet predators, not predators being found.
The bail was something irrationally high for something this trivial to begin with, and it turns out murder’s get better bails than “internet predators,” because that knowledge makes me feel a lot safer. And in conjunction with the short paragraph preceding this, that only accumulated how corrupt the sheriffs’ are, if they arrest innocent people and then collect inordinate sums of money on bail. They either expect people to fail at the terms of the bond or will prolong the court sessions for as long as possible.
The man i know, who will remain nameless, is not entirely innocent, but i can guarantee you the “sheriffs” of twiggs county have more stained hands than the man i know. Now his life is utterly ruined because of something he was goaded into, something that would have happened in normal circumstances. He is not the only one, as there are others who have been arrested at the corrupt hands of Twiggs county who say they too were entrapped by the officers into things that they would not have done otherwise.
I am disgusted that the news supports this bullpoop and only tells half truths, telling people that everything is okay, when it is obviously not. If Twiggs county is allowed to continue this fraudulent witch hunt, many other innocent lives will be ruined. It is entirely possible that the arrests are church goers, family men, youth camp leaders, and such, but how you completely right them off as being bad people is just inhumane. These people are more than likely innocent, especially with what i have witnessed.
All i ask that someone in a position of power, like the governor, or a congressman who actually cares about the power he wields more than the money he can get, investigate these people and reveal them for the shabby, corrupted bastards that comprises the Twiggs county sheriff department for internet predators. And also i ask that all content supporting Twiggs County Sheriff Department Internet Predator hunt be removed from the internet.

Well… If he was goaded into it… I hope he can prove it!! If he DOES have proof (I seriously doubt he tried to make the 13-year-old go away), and the judges ignore it, then that county has bigger issues than a dirty Internet predator unit.

woah, woah, last i checked, in all states of america excluding louisiana, you were innocent untill proven guitly.
it’s this kind of “police are infallible” mentality that allows this kind of organization to exists. Trust me when i say this guy was pressured and constantly messaged by this “girl”. this guy is more virtuous and more humane the the pigs that ransacked his residence. And i use the “term” pigs because i am aware of derogatory connotation i carries to police, and these men were the most uncivil people i have ever met. I have seen second graders be more civil than these sheriffs were the man’s family. They should absoltely no respect to anyone, with the only exception being the judge, who only allowed the sherrifs to give any form of speech at the hearing.
you know, maybe yo should actually go to one of these arrests, watch how the family and friends react, see how the residence is torn asunder by some vague warrant. watch how the hearing goes, watch how one sided the court session goes, watch how corrupt twiggs county is. maybe then you might actually understand where i come from. because untill then you’re sitting there in your little bubble, where everything happens outside. And you continue to believe how valiant these people are. Because you know how many people died in the salem witch trials? you know how many lives wee ruined during the red scare?
and imagine how many innocents there were in those. how many of the supposed communists or witches were in fact normal people who were just indited by a corrupt organization?

First, watch the borderline insults…
I never said he was guilty. Nor did I say “police are infallible.” (Trust me, I have my own gripes) If this organization crossed the line that is one thing… if the sheriff down there is THAT corrupt, then you guys have bigger problems… Maybe you should be writing your congress members and local reporters instead of blogs…
But I digress; I am excited to open this dialogue - maybe we can bring the case to light:
My questions remain - why was your friend talking to the “little girl” to begin with? Was it in a chat room? MySpace? I know exactly how easy it is to mark someone as Spam or put them on an ignore list. EVERY IM has one… I do it all the time from “sexygurl69”… Why didn’t he do that? Or why didn’t HE report abuse to the ISP? If the “girl” was that persistent, that is called stalking. If he reported that and it turned out the Sheriff’s dept. was on the other end of the line – imagine what a different story this would be! WOW! Now ThAT would have put a gag in their mouth! Bottom line: why were conversations carried on?
I agree PervJust is a bit over the edge. Your claims are not the first I have heard. I don’t give them credit at all (PJ I mean, not your claims). But I also don’t give someone immediate credit when they get picked up for something like this. If your friend is REALLY that innocent, it will come out. The law is in his favor as just talking is not a crime. I’ve seen it before. I’ve also seen those as guilty as can be walk with no punishment.
Lastly, do not even TRY to compare the Salem witch trials to this. That was a question of religion… I won’t even begin to go into my opinion on that, as this is not the right forum…
I encourage you and invite you to present evidence here that can prove the corruptness of the sheriff’s department and show your friend’s innocence. In all your ramblings, you really haven’t gone into detail about what exactly happened and what they did to him. From what I gather: he was pursued by a 13-year-old girl, and annoyed by her so much he agreed to a meeting to tell her to stop… correct? I am not asking for you to reveal names, but can you give us some details of the events? Maybe more news articles that shed different points of view or bring other events to light? Can you give facts that are falsified? You even say yourself he is not entirely innocent – does that mean he DID have conversations at first and then stopped? Why did he do so to begin with? When PJ smells a nibble on bait, they jump…
Use this forum to your advantage, but remain calm and stay cool. Use this space to discuss… not vent and lose temper. If we can use this blog to help someone who was falsely accused - that would be a win-win. Tell us the story…….

Take my word for it: If he was meeting this girl then he’s guilty…..No innocent man would meet a 13 yo girl to tell her to go away.

I have learned in my old age that 95 % of men will think of sex every …what is it…..every 3-5 seconds? I have found a lot of guys whom I would never have thought it of….are child molesters.
I misjudged 2, so I am leaving all relationships alone….
Any man caught in such a situation will deny it. Didn’t you know? All the people in prison are innocent? Just ask them,,,they will tell you. All of them got framed by the police….
Mem will also target single women with children…..
