This came out of nowhere, and hopefully will go nowhere. The mounting issues (upstate economy, health care, etc.) and this?!? How can this be retroactive? I can see the class action lawsuit already! If people are wondering; although this was a multi-sponsored "bill", you can be it was Skelos who is behind this. He's got more S.O. laws sponsored than anyone else. What do they say about those that bark the loudest :cough Foley: This is just stupid. Put the money towards treatment, education - a MANUAL for PARENTS to not be so damn gullible and lazy?!
