MySpace “Friend” Robs his “Friend”
More reasons to stay off MySpace, or at the very least, leave your relationships/ “friendships” at the login. The word “friend(ships)” is in quotes because on the site, your buddy list are called friends… for those of you that didn’t know. Kind of ironic, or rather a nice analogy, of the way people treat their “friends’ today… just goes to show you that because you have talked to someone, doesn’t mean they are your “friends”…
Apparently, this is the thing now. This is the 3rd or 4th story like this I have read in the last couple of weeks. People set up meetings with other people on MySpace, and rather than being a sex predator, they simply mug/rob their “friends”… ridiculous.
Get a clue folks… NO ONE is who they say they are online – ESPECIALLY not a collection of losers like SlimeSpace and F*ckBook! Seriously.
Nothing really to do with child online safety and monitoring software (PC Pandora)… more just along the lines of personal safety and… ummm, brains?

MySpace Friend Allegedly Steals Woman’s Purse
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a 19-year-old woman at gunpoint after they met on MySpace.
Josie Sacco told police she arranged to meet the man on a street corner early Sunday morning. He got into her car and they talked for a few minutes before the man drew a handgun, put it to Sacco’s cheek and told her to give him her purse.
When Sacco tried to pull the purse back, the man allegedly struck her several times with the handgun.
Sacco let go of the purse, and the man fled on foot. Sacco told police the purse had about $200 in it. She suffered a cut above her right eyebrow and swelling to her forehead and face.
An investigation is ongoing.
