Another MySpace Fight Video

You want to know why kids are so messed up today? Take a look in the mirror…

This story is a great commentary on the state of parenting today. A fight breaks our and rather than break it up, parents and adults cheer it on as spectators, videotape it, and then post it on MySpace.

Nice.

This really has nothing to do with internet safety… just a nice commentary on jackass adults…

Fight posted on MySpace

TAMPA: A by-stander caught two Tampa teenagers fighting on video tape last week then someone then posted it on the website MySpace.

Now not only the teens but also the spectators may be facing charges.

While the girls in the fight could be slapped with battery charges, police also want to talk to the adults who stood by and watched.

A crowd of people surround two girls rolling around on the ground, clawing and hitting each other.

It’s posted on the MySpace page of ‘mysz. Chocolate’ under the title ‘CeCe and Milah Babe Fight.’

But it’s caught the eyes of Tampa police.

“You know, with a case like this, the evidence is right there. It’s on the internet for everybody to see,” said Sgt. Jim Contento.

The fight happened last week on 22nd Avenue in the Belmont Heights neighborhood of Tampa.

Sgt. Jim Contento says the juvenile girls in the fight could face battery charges.

But the people in the crowd could also be charged.

At several points in the tape it appears adults in the crowd are encouraging the fight.

“I think there’s some responsibility there about adults preventing this type of incident,” said Contento.

Contento says kids posting crimes on the internet is a disturbing trend.

Tampa police haven’t released the names or ages of the suspects in this case.

Detectives have been out in the Belmont Heights neighborhood doing interviews.

Investigators are also working with the state attorney’s office on possible charges.
