Dr. Laura says Parents “Darn Well Better” Spy on Their Kids
According to her website, Dr. Laura Schlessinger is the #1 female radio talk show host on the air today. On her daily radio program, Dr. Laura offers no-nonsense advice infused with a strong sense of accountability, ethics and personal responsibility. On her YouTube channel, she posts vlogs where she answers questions.
This week’s question is what she calls one the most important questions parents can ask: “Is it okay to spy on your teenager’s internet activity?”
Her answer: “You darn well better!”
Just as I have numerous times, Dr. Laura cautions against the overly detailed prying and spying, but tells parents that it is their “obligation to use whatever means possible… to make sure [their] kids are on the right track.”
She also calls out parents that hide behind the “I trust my kids. I don’t want them to think I don’t trust them” BS, saying “They’re KIDS! Of course they can’t be trusted!”
This is a great watch and I encourage all parents to take home the bottom line here: If you think monitoring is over the line… you might not be there to protect your kids when they most need you.
And by the way, our PC Pandora monitoring software can help you monitor all internet activity of your kids. The only way to make sure they are safe is to KNOW they are safe… everything else is just a guess.
In the words of Dr. Laura – go do the right thing!
