Polk County (WI) Sheriff’s Dept. joins state Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force

This news came out last week. It’s great for residents in the Polk County area of Wisconsin – your sheriff’s department now has more funds to help keep your kids safe online. Of course, PC Pandora computer monitoring software has always been available to help keep your kids safe online!!

Area Sheriff’s Department Joins Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force

An area sheriff’s department is joining the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Department is now eligible for reimbursement for certain computer hardware and software, training, and help from investigators and forensic computer analysts. Sheriff Tim Moore says it’s an effort to protect children from online predators.

Dunn and Barron County joined the task force last year. The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Department is also on it.
