So I was out for a week and the blog lay dormant… but no more, baby! I’m back!

And to kick things off I have a handful of good MySpace stories to share for this Monday. Remember, I share these to illustrate the point that it is fine if your child is on a social network, but as a parent, you just need to be cognizant of who else is!! There is no reason not to know. These stories highlight the scum that live on the network and the stupidity that reigns…

   Busted on MySpace: 2 FL men face charges over gang photos on Web sites
   Both men face five years in state prison for the gang-related content of their Web pages. Their prosecutions are the first under a state law passed last year that criminalizes the use of electronic media to “promote” gangs.

   Local Florida Rapper Gets Two Years For MySpace Song
   A rapper in Lakeland, Florida was arrested and sentenced to two years in prison after local law enforcement found a song on MySpace that threatened two cops by name.
