“Boss Lady” Caught!
She really couldn’t have thought she was going to get away with it… did she?
In a follow-up to yesterday’s awesome MySpace story… the 19-year-old girl who dubbed herself “Boss Lady” on MySpace.com and used the site to lure a man to a robbery on Saturday night, got nicked.
Sweet.
Nothing to do with monitoring really, other than yesterday’s moral (“If your child is on MySpace, it is important you know who they are making friends with and talking to…”). Just glad to see she and her pals got caught.
BOYNTON BEACH — A woman who dubbed herself “Boss Lady” on MySpace.com used the social networking site to lure a man to a robbery on Saturday night, police said.
Trinekea T. Cain, 19, reached out to Samuel Presendieu, 23, first online and then in a telephone conversation, according to an arrest affidavit made public this afternoon.
Cain convinced Presendieu to pick her up and to pick up her friend, Tanisha Frazier, on Seacrest Boulevard about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Cain then directed Presendieu to 300 Northeast Seventh Ave., where she pulled a gun on him and ordered him from the car, the affidavit said.
Presendieu told police a handful of strange men converged on him then, ripped his pants off and robbed him of $300 and a cellphone.
After he reported the robbery, detectives looked up “Boss Lady’s” MySpace profile and quickly identified Cain and Frazier, the affidavit said.
In an interview with detectives, Cain admitted to setting up a “lick,” or robbery, for a friend of hers.
Cain was arrested on a robbery charge and taken to the Palm Beach County Jail.
Anyone with information about the robbery can call Detective Chris Crawford at (561) 742-6139 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 458-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip at www.bbpd.org
