Man arrested after explicit texts sent to boy; 9-week investigation leads to charges

COSHOCTON — A Coshocton man has been arrested after sexually explicit text messages were sent to a 12-year-old boy. It is the first time such an offense has been reported in Coshocton County. Bond for Joseph P. Pucella, 37, was set at $500,000 Tuesday at a hearing in Coshocton Municipal Court on a charge of importuning, meaning solicitation to engage in sexual activity with a person less than 13 years of age, which is a third-degree felony.

Man who tried to lure minor to his tent in Chesapeake sentenced to prison

NORFOLK – When authorities arrested Jesse Lee Wise as he sat at a computer in the Chesapeake library last summer trying to lure a 13-year-old girl to a tent he had put up outside the building, he asked them if he could just “type one more thing,” a federal agent said. And then, even after he was in jail facing federal charges of enticing a minor, he tried contacting a 15-year-old girl in Idaho.
