Another Monday means another look at the stupid things people say on the Internet, specifically on social networks, that get them in trouble. What part of “world wide web” do people not understand; when you toss something in the web, the entire world sees it. There is ZERO privacy online. If you don’t want to get in trouble, don’t post your adventures online; if you are doing bad things, don’t use MySpace as a way to brag about it.

Police are investigating after up to 50 youngsters trashed a house during a party which had been advertised on a social networking site.

Rachel Ross, 15, had organized the gathering of friends at her home in Wallasey, Merseyside, while her parents attended a wedding. But when details went on Facebook the house was overrun by gatecrashers.

In Massachusetts, a 17-year-old runaway girl and two 21-year-old men were arrested for a bank robbery after they stupidly posted pictures online of themselves posting with the loot.

DARTMOUTH, Mass., Feb. 24 (UPI) — A teenage runaway girl whose alleged partner in crime posed for a MySpace photo holding $50 bills has been charged with robbing two Massachusetts banks.

In Washington (state), a 14-year-old was arrested for posting a song to his myspace.com account, complete with threats to students and school staff.

A 14-year-old Klahowya Secondary School student’s future as a gangsta rapper may be put on hold after he was arrested for posting a song to his myspace.com account, complete with threats to students and school staff.

Kitsap County sheriff’s deputies were notified by a Central Kitsap School District employee Wednesday, reporting the threats contained in the song, according to reports.

A professor at a northeastern Pennsylvania university was suspended indefinitely for a “humorous” posting on Facebook about hiring a hit man.

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — A professor at a northeastern Pennsylvania university says she’s been suspended indefinitely for what she thought was a humorous posting on Facebook about hiring a hit man.

East Stroudsburg University sociology professor Gloria Gadsden says she was suspended Wednesday because administrators thought she was making threats.

3 students at one high school in Maine were suspended for talking trash about a rival high school. Though the comments were VERY un-PC, keep an eye on this case. The school may have definitely over-stepped its bounds.
