‘Privacy is dead; get over it’

You know my thoughts on this topic… so I’ll get right to the story. The bottom line is there is no privacy on the world wide web. Posting something revealing or just plain stupid online and then getting upset when someone sees it and calls you out on it is like dressing up like a rodeo clown and then getting upset when people laugh at you. What the hell do you expect?

Parents: this article says there is no substitution for parenting and that education is key. While both are true, how do you expect to be truly educated about what your kids are doing and how do you expect to be a well-informed parent?

Answer: PC Pandora 6.0 computer monitoring software. Don’t rely on simple blocks and filters; KNOW what they are doing without any doubt.

Internet warning: ‘Privacy is dead; get over it’
By Guy Kovner, The Press Democrat

The Internet is a siren, seductively calling people to surrender their secrets, their passwords, addresses, account numbers and even intimate photos.

Don’t do it, the experts say — and Santa Rosa teenager Addie Stone agrees.

“Anything you put on the Internet is there forever,” she said. “You just have to think about what you’re willing to share with the world.”
