A twisted predator killed the 14-year-old son of a Texas millionaire oil trader in England after they met playing video games online.

Computer engineer Lewis Daynes, 19, this week confessed to murdering Breck Bednar at a property in Grays, Essex, in February, reports the BBC.

The teen, who lived with his parents in Caterham in Surrey, told them he was going to a friend’s house for a sleepover.

But instead, he travelled to meet up with Daynes at his apartment.

There, he was fatally stabbed in the neck in a brutal attack that prosecutor Richard Whittam said “involved a sexual, sadistic motivation”.

Daynes initially denied murder, but changed his plea to guilty on Tuesday – the day he was due to stand trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.

Bednar’s mom Lorin LaFave said she was “heartbroken and lost” by her son’s death.

“He was murdered on my birthday this year and so much of me died as well. My poor triplets lost not only their adored big brother but also their mother,” she said. [READ FULL STORY]
